I had been searching for a male for our girls for quite a while when I saw Marja-Leenas QurMel litter. At that time I had actually decided to wait. I was looking at them and were very tempted, but were true to my decission to wait. But as they turned 5 weeks, I just needed to send a question and go to see them. It was love!!! The whole litter was great, but to me Filur was just gorgeous! He will be given time to develop, but he is a really promising young boy with the most beautiful eyes:) He has got very nice pointy ears with nice lynx tippings, that are excellent placed for his age. A nice triangle shaped head, with good height on the top, good chin and a beautiful look. Strong body with good lengths and strong boning. Promising coat quality. He also have a very exciting pedigree and from what we have experienced this far a lovely temperament:) He is our dream boy!!! I soo much look forward to see how he develops!!! Well, it was never planned to keep from this combination. But I had big problems letting Gildor go:-) He also represents the possibility to combine lines that I really want to combine. So all in all, I hope it will prove to be a good idea. At this stage I think Gildor have got the best from both his parens. A promising head with a good triangle, Nice big ears that have good width in the base, are nicely shaped and have nice lynx-tips. At the moment still a bit pinched at the nose, but I hope and think that this will improve as he grows up. I love his eyes! Here I can really see both of his parents. Body and boning looks strong at this stage. Tail good length. Coat is still baby quality, but long guard hair has already apeared. I hope he will develop into a nice boy and later on man, but still he will just be left to enjoy life an develop. I will enter further descriptions here when he has gotten older. Gildor will live here in Moss as a hostcat. We just have to take it from there and see how he develops and how he behaves as he grows up. |
